If your cricket club or school wishes to put forward players to the 2019 Assessments please do so using this link: https://forms.gle/dEsPzWDZ3K9mqcx2A
You will find some further useful information (dates/venues etc) within the link – as well as being highlighted further below.
Please note: players currently involved in Surrey CCC’s County Programmes need not be nominated in this way; we will involve them in an appropriate assessment and/or 2020 winter training programme, as appropriate. The nominations we would like to receive from clubs and schools are of new players that are felt to have the perceived potential to enter Surrey CCC’s Player Pathway. [New players include those who are not currently involved in the County Programmes; those who may have attended assessments in 2018 but were not selected; and those who have not attended any assessment to date].
As highlighted within the link we cannot accept nominations solely from a player’s parent; they must come from a coach at the player’s club or school. We would also urge coaches to only nominate those players they feel do have the perceived potential to enter Surrey CCC’s Player Pathway – if coaches would like to discuss this further please do contact email@example.com a Performance Manager will happily discuss this further with them.
We would prefer it if nominations were coordinated and submitted by one person at a club or school, to ensure a consistent approach to the right players being put forward – but appreciate this may not be possible at a number of organisations (in which case we would still welcome nominations from individual coaches).
Please note that these assessments are aimed at Girls.
Surrey CCC does have a Boys’ Player Pathway and a separate process for Boys’ Assessments (U10 to U15), which has already been widely circulated. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
