Team info

U-13 Tigers

What was once called District Cricket is now known as the Surrey CCC Performance Programme.

There are 5 teams within each age group from U-9's to U-14's (Tigers, Cheetahs, Leopards, Lions and Panthers) but rather than being organised on a geographical basis, our aim is to select the 'best' players regardless of their location; based upon the outcomes of our assessment processes.

For 2016 the U-13 and U-14 age groups continue to be selected around geographical boundaries.

U-11's to U-14's train as winter-training squads, followed by their summer match-play programme, in which each squad plays 8 matches.

U-9 and U-10 Performance squads are selected from players who stand-out in the pre- and post-Christmas Performance Courses and Junior Coaching Courses and from their assessments.

To get involved in Performance Cricket, players should be performing at a high level within club and school cricket and should be nominated by their club/school to the Youth Assessments, which are held every year.
